But now that I think about it, I can see it working into a story in a couple of ways. The way in which Id incorporate the anecdote would depend entirely on whose point of view the story is told from. The haughty critic would view the episode differently from the unfortunate amateur thespian who played Salieri. I keep a journal for a variety of reasons. Sometimes I want to chronicle, as in a diary. Sometimes I want to record a detail that otherwise would be lost forever.
