Chapter 8 will focus on the origins of the concept of human rights and its implications for HIV and AIDS advocacy. It will explore both the value of human rights discourse and also the current limitations of human rights practice. The concluding chapter will highlight the current dilemma of growing needs and declining resources within the global HIV and AIDS arena.
